Tip of the day: Don't put four DIMM's in a Athlon 64/X2/Opteron. Hurts bandwidth and is more likely to glitch out in Memtest with single bit errors... (need to run tests with just the new RAM overnight... er, day)

Corollary: Time to look at ECC again.

I'm looking at doing lots of things, but right now I haven't pulled myself together quite enough to move on them. But that'll come along - I hope!
